Cool, citrus flavors make this Pomegranate Pineapple Slush a perfect summer refresher to cool off on a hot day. It’s super easy to make, yummy to drink and healthy to serve. All-in-all a happy mom happy kids recipe.
All it takes is to get some in-season pomegranates and pineapple and blend them together. Satisfy your taste buds by adjusting the sweetness of the drink as you like it, or you can add honey or dates syrup.
Ingredients
Pomegranate: 1 big (peeled and the fruit seeds extracted in a cup)
Pineapple: ½ portion (peeled and chopped)
Water: as per desired consistency
Honey or dates syrup: 1-2 tsp for sweetness (optional)
Ice: as desired
Method
Blend the chopped pineapple pieces and the pomegranate fruit seeds nicely in a blender.
Add some water as per desired consistency and give it a blend one more time.
Add 1-2 tspof honey or dates syrup and stir well, if more sweetness is desired. (optional)
If desired, you could add some ice to make your drink chilled!
Refreshing pomegranate pineapple slush is ready to be served.
